Scott began his career in accountancy with a small firm in Glasgow, gaining invaluable early experience before pursuing his formal training with a mid-tier Paisley firm achieving his ACCA qualification in 2008. Over the years, Scott advanced through various roles at the firm, becoming Audit Manager in 2010, followed by his promotion to Audit and Business Services Associate in 2014. In 2021, he was appointed Director, and in 2025, Scott joined SRG LLP Chartered Accountants as a Partner.

In his current role, Scott offers a wide range of audit, accountancy, and advisory services to a diverse client base, from local businesses to national enterprises. He leads key areas such as project management, client relationships, and financial coordination, ensuring high-quality, tailored solutions for each client.

Scott’s expertise spans multiple sectors, including professional services, manufacturing and engineering, construction, and hospitality. He specialises in working with owner-managed businesses and limited companies, providing strategic insights and bespoke solutions to help clients achieve their goals. Scott is particularly passionate about supporting SMEs—whether newly established or long-standing—in identifying and capitalising on growth opportunities. His experience includes delivering management reporting, valuations, and projections, as well as guiding clients through change management, especially in implementing new accounting systems to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy.
